Ingredients:
1 cup fresh mint leaves
1 cup fresh cilantro leaves
1/4 cup chopped onion
1-2 green chilies
1 tsp grated ginger
2 tbsp lemon juice
Salt, to taste
Instructions:
In a blender or food processor, combine the mint leaves, cilantro leaves, onion, green chilies, ginger, lemon juice and salt.
Blend the ingredients together until you get a smooth paste.
Taste and adjust the seasoning as needed.
Serve the chutney with your favorite Indian snacks or as a dip or spread.
Note:
You can also add some tamarind paste or yogurt to give it a tangy taste and also change the consistency of the chutney as per your liking.You can also make other chutneys like Tomato chutney, coconut chutney, peanut chutney, etc
