Recipe for Miso Soup.

Ingredients:

4 cups dashi (Japanese stock) or chicken or vegetable stock
1/4 cup white or yellow miso paste
2-3 green onions, thinly sliced
4-5 oz of tofu or any other protein of your choice
1/4 cup wakame seaweed (soaked in water for 5 minutes)

Instructions:

In a medium pot, bring the dashi or stock to a simmer over medium heat.
In a small bowl, dissolve the miso paste in a small amount of the hot broth.
Once the broth is simmering, add the miso mixture to the pot and stir until well combined.
Add the green onions, tofu, and wakame seaweed and bring the soup back to a simmer.
Simmer the soup for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until the wakame is tender.
Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
Serve the soup in bowls and enjoy!

Note:

You can add other ingredients like mushrooms, vegetables or seafood for more flavor and variation.
